Rolling Stone magazine has a pretty doofy top 500 albums of all time list, and others on my friends list have been doing this, so:

In boldface if I've listened to them in the last six months or so.
In italics if I bought them in the last two years or so.
Extra small if I have a tape I duped from CD/album many years ago
Striked out if I no longer have it (usually because I taped over it when I wanted to do some 4-track recording and was out of blank tapes) -- not counted towards the 56
