not a beautiful or unique snowflake

I placed two orders to Amazon last Saturday. One was for something I wanted fairly immediately, so I paid for regular shipping, and the other I didn't care about and put down for super saver shipping.

This would be a really entertaining order if I said that the super saver came before the regular one, but that's not true. What is true is that the they both came the same day.

I'd thought they held super saver shipments intentionally to prolong delivery to motivate people to pay more, but I guess not. Maybe they just queue them differently, and if you get lucky the queue is short?

Actually they shipped from entirely different places, I guess--the super saver shipped a day later but probably came from closer. I dunno.
